GOOGLE sharing IP addresses of ORKUT users with Mumbai Police
March 15, 2007
Orkut, Google’s online community has been in the news since the Anti-Shivaji and Anti-Ambedkar communities came into existence. These irrelevant and speculative communities have ruined the goodwill of Orkut and the lovers/followers of Shri Shivaji and Shri Amberdkar. Since then Orkut has been in news for a several reasons and of course for all the bad reasons. Also, out great Mahatma Gandhi Ji was abused and many related videos were spread on the internet and till now these videos have not been removed from the internet. A case related to Bombay Scottish School kids who famed their infamous community on their principal was also cited on Orkut.
Believe it or not, such issues have been befuddling the Mumbai Police for a long time but Mumbai Police could do a little to avoid these communities without the help of Google. But now the time has come and the Mumbai Police has been equipped with all the necessary equipment required to track such offenders on Google but it wasn’t possible with the assistance of Google. [Thanks to Google for their kind help and for taking late action in this matter.]
Now, with the help of Google assistance, Mumbai Police will now be able to track offenders with the help of a single email containing the IP addresses of the Orkut offenders. A meeting was held with 3 representatives of Google, one from Google, USA and the other two from INDIA and it was agreed that Google will share the IP Addresses of the Orkut offenders with the Mumbai Police in order to nab the fan clubs of Indian gangsters.
