Potty training for puppy dogs

Potty training a puppy is not always easy but starting the training properly can create a lot of difference. People use various terms to inspire their puppies to relieve themselves like “go potty”, “bathroom” etc. but it not these words but the desired action is what that counts.

Whenever you get a new puppy in your house always place it in a confined place as they never like to spoil the place where they rest. Then set your alarm accordingly as you have to get up after every two hours till your puppy is under an age of 2 months. Take them out after every two hours and never forget to praise them when they are done. You have to follow this schedule in the night as well as during the day. If you don't have enough time spare for your pet in the day then there should be some one else who can follow this routine strictly.

Many people find it very difficult to potty train their puppies because they follow the schedule during the day but they leave their pets in the night because they feel that clean up the mess in the morning. This never helps at all because your pet is not a human being and taking it out during the day and allowing it to litter anywhere in the night confuses it and cannot learn properly because they learn through habits.

However, if it is impossible for you to get up in the night and if feel uncomfortable following the routine than you should get a slightly trained puppy. Whenever your puppy shits at a wrong place then don't scold him. Be patient and make it realize that it has done a mistake by yelling “bad potty” and other words loudly.
