Home Remedy for Warts

A wart is a small, hard and rough bulge on your skin that may occur anywhere on your body and they are most commonly found on hands and fingers. Warts may or may not require treatment as they normally disappear after few months but mat last forever or reoccur. The main cause of wart is a viral infection particularly by the human papillomavirus (HPV). There are many home remedies for warts and without any studies for home remedies, it's difficult to tell whether the wart will disappear or not. Some of the home remedies for warts are:

1. Most effective way of removing wart is using a duct tape. This therapy involves applying duct tape over the wart infected area for a week and the success of this home remedy is found to be 85% as compared to 60% of cryotherapy.

2. Another home remedy involves using any type of vinegar to remove wart. In this process take any type of vinegar and apply it to the wart 3 to 4 times a day and soon the wart will disappear but you need to be patient as every process involves time.

3. The third home remedy t remove wart involves nail polish, apple cider vinegar and duct tape. This process is a triple threat to wart as it involves painting the wart with nail polish and then applying the cotton swabs dipped into apple cider vinegar to the nail polish over the wart. Finally, seal the area with duct tape and your wart will depart in 4 days only.

These home remedies can be dangerous as no studies have been conducted on the truthfulness of these home remedies for warts. These methods are generally painful and may lead to infection resulting in permanent scars.
