Home Remedy for Athlete's Foot
Athlete's food also termed as tinea pedis is mainly a fungal infection caused by parasitic fungi. Such an infection can be found between the toes and looks like crackled reddish skin that flourishes in moist and warm places. Athletes' foot is a transmittable infection that can be spread by contact with people with infected skin. You may or may not use powders or creams that claim to cure athlete's foot or try some of home remedies for athlete's foot listed below:
1. Ingredients Required: Alcohol, Lysol and Alum powder
How to use:
Mix 2 tablespoons of alum powder with hot water and soak your feet in it until the water gets cool. Dry your feet on a towel and pour alcohol all over the toes and foot. Finally, spray Lysol and let it dry.
2. Ingredients Required: salt, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol, chlorine bleach, white vinegar, isopropyl and Vicks vapor rub.
How to use:
In a 16oz.container mix 1 tablespoon salt, 3 oz. peroxide, alcohol and 3 oz. vinegar and shake well so that the salt gets dissolved. Finally, add bleach to it that will cause a chemical reaction. In the morning apply it to the infected area and after drying the feet rub Vicks vapor rub that will prevent your feet from perspiring. Repeat this process every morning and evening and within a week your athlete's foot will disappear. |
