Home Remedy for Acid Reflux

Do you feel a blazing impression in your throat? If that is what you are feeling right now, then you are suffering from acid reflux. Acid reflux is a condition where you feel burning in the chest or on the throat due to leak back of contents form stomach. Acid reflux is also termed as GERD (Gastroesphageal reflux disease). 1. Gatorade & Ramen Noodles

Whenever I feel the symptoms of acid reflux I go for Gatorade & Ramen Noodles and they prove to be very useful for me in treating acid reflux. I don't have any scientific evidence to prove but this remedy works well for me.

2. Yogurt

Yogurt is another good remedy to cure acid reflux. Take a teaspoon of cold yogurt and it will reduce the pain of acid reflux along with providing cooling effect.

3. Fresh Pineapple

Fruits such as pineapple are a warehouse of enzymes and contain enzymes that reduce protein and also reduce inflammation. The pineapple fresh juice has high enzyme level that helps top reduce the pain of acid reflux.

4. Dried Figs

Dried figs filled with enzymes prove to be a good home remedy to cure heartburn.

5. Herbal Tea

Hot Herbal tea is another effective way to treat acid reflux and you can avoid peppermint and the citrus flavors.

6. Natural Apple Cider Vinegar

Take a glass of water and put one tablespoon of AC vinegar into it and drink the mixture slowly during the meal. This remedy will reduce your acid reflux pain within few minutes.

7. Pay Close Attention to Your Diet

Your diet should not include drinks and foods that intensify the level of GERD. Such foods include greasy foods, spicy foods, alcohol, acid based foods and caffeine.
