Digital image

Digital image is a combination of pixels or dots, depicting a 2D image and stored in numerical form on an electronic media. Digital image is often stored in compressed and uncompressed forms and in different formats such as jpeg, tiff, pcd (photo cd), etc.

a) Expert System:-

An expert system is a computer program designed to act as an expert in a particular area. It is also known as knowledge based system.

History of A.I.

Much of early work in the field focused on formal tasks such as game playing and theorem proving. The logic theory was an early attempt to prove mathematical theorems. Game playing or theorem proving share the property that people who do them well are considered to be displaying intelligence.

Knowledge Base

Introduction:-

A knowledge base management system (KBMS) is a computer system that manages the knowledge in a given domain of interest and exhibits reasoning power to the level of a human expert in the domain.

Satellite Communications:-

The technology is actually a radio in the sky. Satellite stations with transmitting and receiving antenna are launched into orbit by rockets where they receive signal from transmitting stations on earth and relay these signals back to earth stations. Unique aspects of communication satellites:

Turing Test

The turing test measures the performance of a supposed to be intelligent machine against that of a human being. The test which turing called the "imitation game", places the machine and a human counterpart in rooms apart from a second human being referred to as the interrogator.
